Are you a person of truth or do you lie?
Do you lie when it is convenient for you?
Are you a storyteller and stretch the story to make it sound better?
People need to understand that the news media and most if not all politicians are liars which makes them of the devil.
So if you do lie then it’s a good time to repent. Repent means a change of heart and a change of mind.
God is the Father of Truth. To be a child of God you must be a truthful person.
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began
Jesus is full of the truth.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
The Devil is the father of lies, which means you are a child of the devil if you lie, not a child of God.
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it .
If you lie then you are an abomination unto the Lord, but if you always tell the truth you are his delight..
Proverbs 12:22 Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.
The Bible teaches we are to be new people in Christ and the old person is dead.
Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.
Proverbs 13:5 A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.
Proverbs 14:5 A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.
Proverbs 19:9 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.
Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

All liars shall have their part in the lake of fire
Revelations 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and prostitutes, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.
Revelations 22:15 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and prostitutes, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
