The Unimaginable Truth About So-Called Christians Ages 18–39

Sixty percent of so-called Christians aged 18 – 39 Believe Jesus is “Not the Only Way” to Salvation. If a so-called Christian claims there are other ways to God besides Jesus, they are lost and have never been born again.

Simply stating that you are a Christian does not make you one. Just like claiming to be Superman doesn’t transform you into Superman. Becoming a Christian comes from actions and beliefs, not mere declarations. It’s crucial to understand that true Christianity stems from living out the values and principles associated with the Bible.

A survey indicates that more than 60 percent of so-called born-again Christians aged 18 to 39 assert that Jesus, Buddha, and Muhammad are all equal pathways to salvation.

Those who believe that false gods can provide a pathway to salvation are not born-again Christians. This mindset is typical of once-a-week churchgoers who have not taken the time to study the Bible.

The Jesus they believe in absolutely does not represent the true Jesus of Scripture.

There is only one God and one go-between, and that is Jesus the Christ.

1 Timothy 2:5 “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”

1 Corinthians 8:6 “But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”

A ministry has released the results of its survey on Religious Views and Practices, highlighting a “striking decline” in religious beliefs and practices over the past ten years. The survey reveals that a majority of those identifying as “Born-again” Christians lack knowledge about the fundamental teachings of their faith.

When asked whether Jesus sinned like others during his life on earth, 30 percent of so-called born-again Protestants either agreed or were unsure.

To be clear, Jesus did not commit any sins.

One should consider where these self-identified Christians obtain this information. It certainly isn’t from the Word of God.

I will reiterate that many pulpits are filled with false teachers in lukewarm churches. These scriptures in Revelation resonate with numerous American churches and others worldwide.

Revelations 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

Revelations 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Revelations 3:17  Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.

Christianity is grounded in the undeniable truths of the Word of God.

Therefore, claiming to be a Christian means that you follow Jesus and the teachings of the Bible. If you are not adhering to the Word of God, then you cannot be considered a Christian.

The Bible unequivocally asserts that there is only one begotten Son of God, and that is Jesus Christ.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Jesus declared that he is the only definitive path to God.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. That is Jesus way, Jesus truth, and Jesus life.

True Christianity begins with a foundational belief; if your faith does not start there, then you cannot truly consider yourself a Christian.

Simply going to church does not define someone as a Christian; true faith is about belief and actions that reflect that belief.

Going to church is a common practice among Christians; however, simply attending church services does not automatically qualify someone as a true Christian.

Being a Christian involves a personal commitment to the beliefs and teachings of Christianity, which goes beyond mere attendance. It encompasses a relationship with God, an understanding of the faith, and living out Christian values in daily life.

Christians were originally called “the Way” because they consciously chose to follow the teachings and example of Jesus.

Acts 9:2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

They were first called Christians in Antioch. (Followers of Christ, Christ-like)

Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

The biblical concept of “Born Again” is frequently misrepresented. The truth is that we are born once, but it is essential that we undergo the process of being born again.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Peter explains the meaning of being “born again” and offers guidance on how to grow in that experience.

1 PETER 1:23  Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.

Jesus shared a parable about a seed, symbolizing the word of God, and how various people receive this word and whether it flourishes or not.

The Word clearly states that only a few will truly find the truth and live by the truth.

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Many individuals will attend church and proclaim themselves to be born-again Christians. However, when faced with Jesus, He will decisively state that He never knew them. He will say, “Depart from me, you who continue to practice sin.” This serves as a stark reminder that mere attendance and self-identification are not enough; true transformation is essential for salvation.

Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work sin.

It is crucial for individuals who regularly attend church services and proudly identify as Christians to engage deeply with the Scriptures. Without a thorough understanding of the Bible’s teachings, they risk missing the profound truths that can lead to eternal life.

By investing time in studying their Bible, they can enrich their faith and ensure they are following the path to salvation.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
