This is not the first generation that has branded truth from the word of God as hate.
You can read the Book of Martyrs, which the hate started with Jesus, passed on to his disciples, and ultimately reached the followers of Christ.
This is not just a hatred of people; it is also a hatred of God.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
John 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
In this generation, entire sections of Scripture are considered “hate speech.” If you affirm God’s design for marriage, gender, or life in the womb, you risk being censored, mocked, or even punished.
Speaking the truth of the Bible is not an act of hate; rather, it is a means to be liberated from evil. True love communicates the truth, even when it is unpopular.
The issue with cultural morality is that it is constantly shifting. What is praised today may be condemned tomorrow. This morality is based on feelings rather than facts.
Today, feelings and politics largely determine what is considered moral. The news and television contribute to this distorted sense of right and wrong.
God’s word remains steadfast and unchanging, regardless of the passage of time.
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
The words in the Bible are what everyone in the world will be judged by.
Revelation 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Revelation 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Christians must stand for the truth in the Bible and raise their voice against all that is evil.
John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Qui Tacet Consentire Videtur. This Latin maxim means,
“He who remains silent is understood to consent.”
“Consent” = “agreement to do something or permission for something to happen.”
“If you remain silent, you agree.” If you choose not to speak up or express your belief, you agree.
Many in the pulpits have become silent about the evil in this world. Christians no longer stand against evil or speak out against it.
The Bible tells us that persecution is the result of being a Christian.
1 John 3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
1 Peter 3:14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled.
1 Peter 3:17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
1 Peter 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
1 Peter 4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
1 Peter 4:14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
1 Peter 4:15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.
1 Peter 4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
1 Peter 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.
Truth for Christians extends beyond feelings or political beliefs; it encompasses the truth of God’s word, which leads us to Jesus as the way and the life.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Christians believe that God guides their paths through the teachings found in the Bible.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
Proverbs 3:8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
Christians recognize Jesus as the Truth, Christ himself is the “Truth,” but the message about him and how he saves, what we call “the gospel,” is “the truth.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
This is why Christians need to study the Bible.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

When we speak the truth, it must be motivated by love and expressed with love.
1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.
1 Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent love among yourselves: for love shall cover the multitude of sins.
1 Corinthians 16:14 Let all your things be done with love.
