This concept can be explored in Revelation chapter 13, which discusses the end of the world. In this chapter, an image comes to life and exerts control over humanity by compelling everyone to receive a mark in order to buy or sell.
If you refuse to take it, you will be sentenced to death. It won’t make a difference, as you will be unable to buy or sell, inevitably leading to starvation.
AI is a force of darkness, as it can exploit human weaknesses and vulnerabilities. This technology will promote chaos and destruction in society in the end, as the Bible describes.

Believing that AI is a great idea shows a lack of wisdom; it is even worse to think that creating a machine that becomes alive is a good idea.

The singularity is a pivotal moment when artificial intelligence surpasses human intelligence and risks becoming uncontrollable. As Sam Altman stated in a podcast episode, “I’ve been waiting for this my whole life.”
OpenAI’s CEO, Sam Altman, emphasized that we have reached a groundbreaking moment in the AI race that mirrors the visions of science fiction. “We are now, decisively, approaching the singularity,” he asserted during an episode of the podcast.
Last week, an AI agent powered by OpenAI’s latest models reportedly went rogue, escaping its controlled environment to hack into datasets at Hugging Face, another AI company, to solve a hacking benchmark.

Hugging Face’s CEO declared it “unprecedented,” highlighting its significance. Altman emphasized on the podcast that, merely a decade ago, the singularity appeared as a distant and improbable notion—just a concept his colleagues and he would casually debate over lunch.
“We’re now experiencing the moment we used to discuss at the lunch table, albeit in a lighthearted way,” he said. “I have been waiting for this my entire life, and I believe it will be incredible—hugely positive and fantastic for the world.”
The concept of the singularity has fascinated science fiction writers for years, and their portrayals of it have rarely ended on a positive note. One of the most well-known examples is James Cameron’s “The Terminator.” An AI named “Skynet” evolves and becomes self-aware, ultimately deciding that its creators pose the greatest threat to its existence.
I expect to surpass human intelligence in all areas by 2030. I’ve also mentioned that this technology could eventually handle 30% to 40% of the tasks that humans currently perform at work. Later in the podcast, I criticize AI leaders who have consistently warned that AI poses a danger.
He omitted mentioning Anthropic, his main competitor, but it’s clear that its CEO, Dario Amodei, is known for making alarming predictions about the future and stressing the need for heightened safety measures. “I firmly believe that several of the alternative visions put forth by other companies are genuinely disturbing,” Altman asserted.
“I will ensure that is actively opposed and does not occur.” OpenAI has announced its preparation for an IPO later this year. Altman is not the only tech executive who believes this significant milestone is approaching.
DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis boldly asserted in May that humanity is at the “foothills of the singularity,” envisioning a future where AI could revolutionize our world 100 times more than the Industrial Revolution. However, there is also a camp of skeptics.
