Researchers have begun drilling in the Durupinar formation in eastern Turkey, a location some believe could be the final resting place of Noah’s Ark.
Genesis 8:4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
The Noah’s Ark Scans expedition is a major venture to uncover the mysteries hidden beneath the surface near Mount Ararat. Led by Christian activist Lauren Witzke, this expedition brings together a team of international archaeologists and geologists committed to making significant findings.
The team has decided to deploy an underground robot known as Gopher to explore the subterranean areas below the site. Gopher is equipped with advanced sensors and imaging technology, allowing it to navigate and gather data on the geological composition, potential hazards, and any artifacts or features of interest underground.
This exploration aims to improve our understanding of the site and guide future development. Experts in the Turkey excavation are hopeful for significant discoveries, despite skepticism about any connection to the ark in Genesis.
“Good morning from Noah’s ark,” Witzke declared in a Tuesday update. “Core drilling has commenced, and the big bang evolutionists are already scrambling for damage control.”
Witzke, the expedition’s marketing and fundraising director, confidently states that the project has secured approval from the Turkish government and is under the oversight of local universities. He emphasizes that it employs some of the world’s most brilliant minds, ensuring the expedition’s credibility and success.
She asserted, “Once we finish, university curricula will be revised, and Darwinism will be dismantled. This is where creation begins anew.”
The Durupinar formation, discovered in 1948 after heavy rains and earthquakes, is notable for its shape and size. Many believe it to be the fossilized remains of Noah’s ship, built to save the world’s animals from extinction after a catastrophic flood.
Many expeditions have sought to locate Noah’s Ark, a significant biblical vessel. These searches span thousands of years and focus mainly on the mountainous regions of Ararat in Turkey.
The quest for the Ark has captivated many, leading to both scientific inquiries and adventurous pursuits to uncover the truth behind this ancient story in the Holy Bible.
In the 1st century, Jewish historian Flavius Josephus reported that the remnants of Noah’s Ark were discovered in Armenia, specifically at the mountain of the Cordyaeans, which is believed to be Mount Ararat in present-day Turkey.

Luke 17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Genesis 7:9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.
Genesis 7:10 And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
Genesis 7:23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
