MOLDED BY THE MASTER

God’s plan for every person from the beginning of time was to be shaped by His hand.

God is the potter, and we are the clay. We are all lumps of human clay waiting for a touch from Master Potter, who is God.

When a potter puts the clay on the wheel, he already has a good idea of what shape he wants it to take. God wants us, the clay, to become like his Son Jesus.

Isaiah 64:8 But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.

Ephesians 1:4 Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love

We must submit ourselves to God, resist the devil, stop sinning, and purify your heart to be molded and used as He desires.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double-minded. God is shaping us for a specific purpose, one that is individually designed for us, so we will help do His work for his kingdom.

Romans 14:7 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

We have been bought by God and our bodies are no longer yours.

1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

God will mold us to become his workers for the Kingdom if we study the Bible.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.

Hebrews 12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

Hebrews 12:6For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Hebrews 12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

Hebrews 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Hebrews 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

2 Timothy 2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor.

Which will you be a vessel of honor or dishonor?

Jesus came to give his life a ransom for many

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Rom 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Rom 5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed.

Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Mark 10:45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

Ephesians 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Ephesians 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

Ephesians 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Ephesians 1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.

How to Walk with God

Enoch had such a close walk with the Lord that the Bible says and he was not, for God took him.

Genesis 5:24 Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

God has provided a way for us to walk with him through Jesus. And that way is faith.

2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight:

To walk with God we must agree with him.

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

We must have fellowship with him just as human relationships fall apart without regular contact, if we don’t spend time with God our relationship with him will weaken and fall apart.

James 4:8 Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you.

Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

When we walk with God he will always be there to direct our path.

Proverbs 16:9 A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

So if we walk in the Spirit we will be walking with God.

Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Proverbs 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

Proverbs 3:4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:7  Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

Proverbs 3:8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Colossians 2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

Are you walking on that path of God with his word?

What does God think about Sin

The Law given by God consists of 613 commandments. Sin is breaking the law.

1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

By the law we understand that by breaking any of the 613 commandments we understand what sin is.

Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Everyone has sinned.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Jesus died for the sins of the world.

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

God loved the world and sent his Son to shed his blood for our sins.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

So we are saved by grace. Grace is a gift from God that we didn’t deserve.

Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, by grace ye are saved.

By God’s grace we understand that we should deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and we should be godly, in this world.

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Titus 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.

Some false teachers teach that we can sin because we are under grace, but the scriptures say God forbids, which means God is ordering all saved by grace not to sin.

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

Romans 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Romans 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Romans 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

The way not to sin is to walk after the spirit and not after the flesh.

Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh, but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

Galatian 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

If you do sin then you have a go-between with God who is Jesus.

1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

If you commit sin you are a servant of sin not a servant of Jesus.

Romans 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. If you do righteousness you are righteous.

Unrighteousness is sin.

1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

We were sinners before we were Christians, not sinners any longer.

1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that wrong doers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men,

1 Corinthians 6:10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Colossians 3:5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.

James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1 Corinthians 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Think Postive In A World Of Fear!

In this time of sickness and death around the world, we need to stay positive.

And where do you get this positive thinking from? The word of God!

The news around the world is pushing fear. But God has everything in control.

Faith is positive whereas doubt is negative, which is the opposite of what the Bible teaches.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Matthew 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

To make it clear it doesn’t mean a mountain in your life as many who pull this scripture out of context because they have no faith. The scripture is about a literal mountain and means nothing is impossible with God.

Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

The Bible is a very positive book for those who believe in its words.

The Bible teaches what comes from your mouth comes from your heart.

Matthew 15:8 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart, and they defile the man.

Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.

Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Here are some positive thinking scriptures you can say every day.

Philippians 4:23 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Matthew 21:22 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Luke 1:37 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Hebrews 13:6 The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Isaiah 40:30 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint.

Deuteronomy 31:8 And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Psalms 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

Psalms 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Psalms 103:4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies;

Psalms 103:5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

VICTORY IN JESUS

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:37 In all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Jesus won the victory over the devil at the cross. Sin was atoned for, and the power of sin and death was broken.

After Jesus crucifixion and burial, He rose from the dead three days later and received victory over Satan.

Jesus resurrection from the dead broke the chains of death, set us free from sin, and neutralized the powers of evil:

Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Hebrews 2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

The way that people achieve that victory is faith.

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

1 John 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

That doesn’t mean Christians don’t have problems, but we have God on our side, sinners, on the other hand, must go through life with no help.

God always causes us to triumph in Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Ephesians 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Ephesians 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

Joy in Jesus

Psalms 118:24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Joy in the Greek means calm delight, exceeding joyful.

1 Peter 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

I think these next two scriptures is the Joy of the Lord that we should bear.

1 Peter 1:8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

1 Peter 1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

The joy that a Christian receives is not their own, but they receive Jesus joy.

John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

That Jesus’s joy might remain in you. Just like the disciples, it’s for us as well.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

The Joy we receive is from the Holy Spirit and we bear that fruit.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Galatians 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.I will be glad and rejoice in thee:

Psalms 9:2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

1 Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice evermore.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

1Thessaloians 5:18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and overall the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Luke 10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Lovers of God or Lovers of the World

Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

It will profit you nothing since we all die and then the judgment.

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

1 Timothy 6:7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

1 Timothy 6:8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

Do you know that by being friends with the world, you are selling out to the devil, which many people that go to church have done in the modern world?

James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Many church people love the world and the things in it.

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The word conformed means, not like the world. Are you like the worldly people doing and going to the same places as the world does? Or are you different from the world because of your faith.

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

1 John 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

So it’s obvious by scripture that we are to overcome the world and the lust thereof.

2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

To sum this up: We are to overcome the world not be a part of it. If you are friends with the world you are a enemy of God. If you love the world and the things in it the love of the father is not in you. You are committing adultery with the world because you are Christ’s.

Christianity is more than going to a church once a week for an hour and then living for yourself, the rest of the week. If this is your Christianity, I would advise you to read the Bible, because you are deceiving yourself.

James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

James 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

James 1:20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

You can put your trust in God

No matter what is going on in the world, Christians are secure in God.

Here are a few scriptures to remember when you read about the world and the trouble in it.

Romans 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.

Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Psalms 32:7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.

Psalms 91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Psalms 118:8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

Psalms 9:9 The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

Psalms 143:8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

Hebrews 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Jeremiah 17:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.

Jeremiah 17:8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Psalms 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, only makest me dwell in safety.

Healing and Health in the Word of God

There are health and healing in the word of God. We should feed on the word daily for our natural health as well as our spiritual health.

Through both the Old Testament and New Testament scriptures teach that God does heal our physical bodies.

Healings still happen today and every day around the world! The word of God has the power to heal and fill our hearts with hope.

Scientists, as well as many doctors, have proved that prayer and spiritual truths from the Bible can actually promote healing and well-being.

James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Allowing God’s truths and promises to saturate our lives through reading the words in the Bible, will give us the confidence for our future that God has prepared for us.

Those implanted seeds of truth will give us life more abundantly to accomplish God’s purpose in our lives. Trusting the words of God daily with your lives will bless you today and make your tomorrows full of joy and hope.

James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Proverbs 4:20-22 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

Psalms 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Psalms 103:2-3 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.

Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Why we Pray

Prayer is in the Scriptures more than 200 times, just that should tell every Christian that God wants you to pray.

There are so many reasons why to pray. I will cover just a few to encourage every Christian to pray daily.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

A prayer is an act of worship, it teaches us to depend on God. We don’t have to kneel or sit. We can pray while walking, driving, or working.

Jesus is our example and he prayed to the Father.

Matthew 14:23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

When the devil comes to us and temptation we can defeat it with prayer.

Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Hebrews 4:15 For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Prayer gives us power over evil and lets us participate with God in the battle against evil.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Prayer is about communication with the living God.

Psalms 145:18 The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

Our decisions in life should be prayed about.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Matthew 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

1 Timothy 2:1 I exhort, therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Psalms 145:18 The Lord is close unto all them that call upon him,
to all that call upon him in truth.

Don’t be angry and if you do, don’t go to bed angry, but Forgive

I think the scriptures speak for themselves. Don’t be angry and if you do, don’t go to bed angry, but forgive.

Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

If a Holy God can forgive us, we can always forgive others.

Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Matthew 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

The Bible says if you are slow to anger you’re of great understanding.

Proverbs 14:28 He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

We are to live peacefully with everyone if it is possible and to overcome evil with good.

Romans 12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

Romans 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

Proverbs 15:8 A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.

Psalms 37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

Romans 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

1 John 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

1 John 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

Why people use Prayer Shawls

Many Christians like to pray with a Prayer Shawl over their heads.

There are those movements that are teaching false doctrine, like the Hebrew movement, who are teaching Christian they must keep the Law.

We are not under the Law=613 commandments or obligated to wear or pray with a shawl.

Romans 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

So you can use a prayer shawl as a Christian, but you are not required to wear one. Christians like to use these prayer shawls to pray to God in secret.

A tallit is a fringed garment, traditionally worn as a prayer shawl by religious Jews.

Numbers 15:37 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

Numbers 15:38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:

The English word hem is a translation of a Greek word meaning a tassel of twisted wool. These tassels were attached to the corners of the prayer shawl. The word translated border or corner is a Hebrew word which can also be translated ‘’wings”

Numbers 15:39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them ; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:

The tallit has special twined and knotted fringes are known as tzitzit attached to its four corners.

Each of the fringes contains 8 threads and 5 knots, making a total of 613. Based on rabbinical Judaism, this number corresponds to the 613 commandments contained in the Torah.

So you can use a prayer shawl as a Christian, but you are not required to wear one.

If you are wearing a prayer shawl or praying with one because you been told or believe it’s required, you are under the Law.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Christians don’t have to use a prayer shawl to pray to God secretly. We are not bound by any rule or suggestion to wear a prayer shawl. This is a personal decision, not a requirement.

Eternal Home

I heard a song that went on 10,000 years, and we just have begun living for eternity. It made me think about how long I have lived and how short of time that was compared to 10,000 years, let alone eternity.

So imagine the life span that you have lived and how long 10,000 years would be, let alone eternity.

To live forever is something nobody wants to pass up!

What a great gift God has given everyone that serves him.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

It’s beyond comprehension what it would be like to live for eternity. But not just living that long, but living with God on the new earth, which will be our eternal home. God will dwell with us, and there will be no distance between God and us.

Revelations 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

Revelations 22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

Revelations 22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign forever and ever.

There will be no more tears of sorrow and pain. There will be no physical pain because our bodies will have been glorified and made like unto the body of an angel.

Revelations 22:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

We can’t imagine what God has in store for us and I have a great imagination.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

If it’s joy unspeakable and full of glory before we see him, how much more joy and full of glory after we do see him.

1 Peter 1:8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

1 Peter 1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Psalms 40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

Psalms 145:3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

Psalms 145:4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

Psalms 145:5 All thy works shall praise thee, O ; and thy saints shall bless thee. Lord

Psalms 145:10 All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.

Psalms 145:11 All thy works shall praise thee, O ; and thy saints shall bless thee.LordThey shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;

Psalms 145:12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.

Psalms 145:13 Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

Psalms 150:1 Praise ye the . Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

Psalms 145:2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Psalms 150:3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

Psalms 150:4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

Psalms 150:5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.

Psalms 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.

Revival Begins With You

The word revival means awakening.

Revival must start in you. Christians are the light of the world.

Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Matthew 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Revival is something every person in the Churches around the world need.

America was the light of the world since its founding, but today its light has almost gone out and the small flicker is not enough to give light unto its own people.

Revival is a word that you don’t hear much any more. In America, most people in churches are too interested in feeding the outer man than feeding their inner man.

Many people in the churches are lovers of pleasures.

2 Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2 Timothy 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2 Timothy 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.

Great revivals have happened since the day of Pentecost up through the 1900s. Revivals consist of personal salvation to the unsaved and awaking to the already saved in churches.

Many revivals went across countries and leaped from country to country. Before a revival, Christians prayed for weeks on their knees to God for their families, friends and their communities that weren’t saved. Christians went door to door encouraging people to attend and passed out pamphlets of the upcoming revival.

We are to shout it from the housetops, so the preachers behind the pulpits should be shouting it.

Matthew 10:27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

Many say they are Christians, but few live it. The truth is that many churches are full of seat warmers and not Christians. Today many claim to be saved, but the truth is few are.

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Jesus said that he will tell many he never knew them and they were workers of iniquity.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Lukewarm is what most of the people in the Churchs around the world have become. And Christians know that the lukewarm does more damage to the faith, then the cold. For they teach others their slumber ways. But God says that he would whether you be hot or cold then to be lukewarm.

I think that the scriptures to the church of the Laodiceans in Revelations apply to most Churches in the world. I know many churches in America are lukewarm.

Revelations 3:14-19 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Many churches around the world need to repent. Repent means a change of mind and heart, and if many in the Christian world would get out of their slumber, then we could have great revivals again and see the Church revived and the lost saved.

Psalms 85:6-7 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.

The Minster and his unknown passenger

I want to start by saying we don’t worship angels.

Colossians 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshiping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind.

Angels do God’s bidding and are sent to minister to those who are heirs of salvation.

Hebrews 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

A preacher received a call asking him to come to the hospital because a dying man wanted to meet with him. The preacher took his Bible and went to the hospital. Upon entering the room, the sick man invited him to take a seat.

The sick man told the preacher that he needed to ask for forgiveness and began sharing his story. He asked the preacher if he recalled holding a revival at the church for a week many years ago, to which the preacher responded that he did remember.

He said that you parked your car behind the church and always exited through the back door; the preacher confirmed this.

The sick man stated that he attended those meetings every night and felt a strong conviction each time. He also mentioned that he became extremely angry at you during your preaching each night.

On the night before the last night of the revival, I became so angry that I went home and decided to shoot you after the service the next night.

I loaded my gun the night of the last revival service and took it with me to church. During the service, I got up in the middle and went outside to the back, waiting for you to come out to your car.

An hour or so passed, and you came out to your car, and I saw you get in, so I proceeded to your car before you drove away.

And then, to my surprise, on the passenger side, I saw that huge man with you. When he looked at me, my anger turned into fear. I was so shaken up that I could not move as you drove away.

As the preacher heard the story, he forgave and prayed for him before leaving.

As he drove away from the hospital, he thought of the story and knew that every night he left the revival, he drove to the hotel alone with no passenger in his car. That night, an angel of the Lord was his passenger.

The Bible speaks of angels many times in many places.

For those wise Christians, fear God, and the angel of the Lord will be with you and deliver you.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Psalms 33:8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

Psalms 34:7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Giving to the Poor and Hungry

There are over 9 million people who die of starvation in the world a year, and most of them are children. There are over 800 million that do not have enough of the food they need to live an active, healthy life.

Signs of starvation are apathy, withdrawal, and listlessness and may include flaky skin, and massive edema in the lower limbs and abdomen, causing the person’s abdomen to seem bloated. Starvation is a very painful way to die.

The Bible teaches you to give to the poor.

Acts 20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

When someone is in need, the Christians should be the first to respond. We are to love our neighbors.

The Bible teaches that when we give unto the poor, we lend to God, and he will repay us. What a great promise that is. We Christians have an opportunity to lend unto God every time we give to the poor. How could any Christian not want to lend unto God?

Proverbs 19:17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

Christians are to give cheerfully.

2 Corinthians 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Many promises are forgiving.

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye meet withal, it shall be measured to you again

2 Corinthians9:6-7 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall also reap sparingly, and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

Proverbs 11:24-25 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

Matthew 6:1-4 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou gives, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

So give to your neighbors in poor countries that are starving and do it in secret so God will reward you openly.

Luke 10:25 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbor?

Luke 10:26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

Luke 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.

Luke 10:28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

Luke 10:29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbor?

Luke 10:30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

Luke 10:31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

Luke 10:32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

Luke 10:33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

Luke 10:34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

Luke 10:35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

Luke 10:36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbor unto him that fell among the thieves?

Luke 10:37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

Life of not Sinning

1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Sin in the Bible means to miss the mark. The mark, in this case, is what God expects from every person.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.

As you notice its sin in the past, not sins in the future as some teach. Now if you do sin after you are saved you can repent and we have a go-between with God, which is Jesus.

1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

People sin when they are in their flesh and drawn away with their own lust and enticed.

James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

James 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

God will never let you be tempted above what you can handle and will always give you a way out.

1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Shall we continue in sin because we are saved by Grace. God forbids.

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so, we also should walk in newness of life.

Romans 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Romans 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Romans 8:12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

People who live in sin will be surprised when Jesus tells them he never knew them, and depart from him, because you are a worker of iniquity.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

1 Corinthians 7:1 Having, therefore, these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.   Life of not Sinning.

2 Peter 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

2 Peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Many turning to Jesus in Iran

To everyone’s surprise, one of the fastest-growing conversions to Jesus is in Iran than in any other country in the world.

Millions of people turn from Shite Islam and turn to Jesus the Christ.

You might have seen on TV people shouting death to America or death to Israel, but those orchestrated demonstrations come from the hardliners running the government.

This underground church movement that the Holy Spirit is growing has no church building and owns no property, no denomination yet is growing tremendously every day.

The people of Iran are looking for new answers, they are not happy with Islam and not satisfied with where they are spiritual. It seems that a large number of these people are having dreams and visions about a shining man dressed in white before they are told about Jesus.

Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

To evangelize in Iran results in extreme persecution, but the Christians in Iran seek prayer, not for the persecution to stop since it helps spread the Gospel but prayer for them to be able to endure it.

Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

If you convert to Christianity from Islam in Iran and are caught you are arrested and persecuted as a heretic.

John 15:18 If the world hates you, ye know that it hated me before it hates you.

Pastor Youcef Nadarkhan was given a 10-year prison sentence for spreading propaganda against the regime, which comes down to preaching about Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 3:17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well-doing than for evil doing.

Detentions without formal charge, trial, or sentencing are common and their families are publicly humiliated. Prison in Tehran is famous for beatings and torture.

It’s estimated that there are over a million saved Christians in Iran in the last few years and more every day. Pray for the Christians in Iran and the new converts in the future.

1 Peter 1:8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.

What Is a Christian?

What Is Christian? Who are the representatives of Jesus? Christians are! While you are on earth, you stand here in the place of Jesus. When people see you, they should see Christ-like in you. Representation=the action of speaking or acting on behalf of someone or the state of being so represented.

Jesus Christ is who every Christian represents on earth.

Matthew 5:14-16 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Christians have standards of conduct in which one should act, based on Christian values.

Honesty is being truthful, and straightforward, which are aspects of honesty.

Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Ephesians 4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.

Integrity is being faithful to one’s convictions which is integrity. Following principles of the Bible, help to maintain the integrity and avoid hypocrisy.

Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Compassion is an essential element of a true Christian and the true hallmark of a Christian life.

1 Corinthians 16:14 Let all your things be done with love.

1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

1 Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

Every true Christian can only represent Jesus by being born again by the word of God and that way we have the mind of Christ.

1 Peter 1:22-23 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Jesus the Word of God

When you make Jesus your lord and master, you make the word of God your Lord and master.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Proverbs 7:7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

Proverbs 7:9 They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

Proverbs 7:14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.

Proverbs 7:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

Proverbs 7:18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.

Proverbs 7:19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

Proverbs 7:20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:

Proverbs 7:21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

Proverbs 7:22-23 The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.

Proverbs 7:24-26 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

Proverbs 7:27-29 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

Proverbs 7:30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

Proverbs 7:32 Now, therefore, hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.

Proverbs 7:33-34 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

Proverbs 7:36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

When you have Resentment and Bitterness that is Sin

When you are offended or disappointed by others and allow the hurt to enter your heart, bitterness, and resentment will take root, and it becomes a sin.

Resentment and bitterness can cause physical, emotional, and spiritual issues and harm relationships, similar to depression and other emotional stress.

The emotion of anger is destructive and has its roots in hate, which can be likened to the act of murder.

1 John 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

When you have a negative and critical attitude, holding onto bitterness and resentment is self-defeating and sinful.

Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.

No one can find peace and happiness while holding onto sin. However, God can help you overcome sin if you repent and ask for forgiveness for any bitterness or resentment in your heart.

Ask God to forgive those who hurt you, as He forgives you.

Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Find ways to show love to those who hurt you and those you’ve hurt.

Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Instead of holding onto anger and resentment, ask God to help you forgive those who have wronged you and cleanse your memory.

By forgiving your offender and asking God for their forgiveness, you release God’s blessings on yourself and the other person.

Colossians 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man has a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

If someone wrongs you and doesn’t repent, leave it to God to seek revenge: “Vengeance is mine; I will repay,” says the Lord.

Proverbs 25:21 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink.

Proverbs 25:22 For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee.

Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

1 Peter 2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously,

Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Matthew 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Romans 12:14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

Romans 12:15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

Romans 12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

Romans 12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

Romans 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

The Bible Teaches to Think Positive

Faith is positive, whereas negative= doubt is the opposite.

To make it clear, it doesn’t mean a mountain in your life as many who pull this scripture out of context because they have no faith.

Be careful how you think; your thoughts shape your life.

Psalms 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Psalms 103:4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies;

Psalms 103:5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Resurrection Power! A new earth and heavens

Jesus is coming!

This present earth and the heavens above will pass away when Jesus Christ returns to destroy his enemies.

Revelations 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

The Bible teaches that Christians will live on a new earth for eternity. The New Jerusalem is Christians living on the new earth.

Revelations 21:9 Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.

Revelations 21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.

We will receive a new celestial-heavenly body in the resurrection, that never gets sick or never needs sleep and everyone will love you.

Revelations 22:3 The throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

Revelations 22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

Revelations 22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign forever and ever.

All the animals will be at peace.

Isaiah 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together, and a little child shall lead them.

Isaiah 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

God will dwell with us and there will be no distance between us and God. Never will you feel that God is absent or remote. Loneliness is banished from the new heaven and new earth.

There will be no more tears of sorrow and pain. There will be no physical pain because our bodies will have been glorified and made like unto the body of an angel.

Those who live with constant, chronic pain and disability should be especially encouraged for the day is coming when all pain will be gone! And not just physical pain, but emotional pain, the pain of disappointment and loss, the pain of every sort and from every cause, all will be gone.

We will be made spiritually in the sense that our battle with sin and temptation and lust and greed will be forever gone. We will not spend eternity as a disembodied soul or spirit. We will live forever in a new, transformed, glorified physical body.

Revelations 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

1 Corinthians 15:40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

1 Corinthians 15:41 There is one glory of the sun and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

1 Corinthians 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

1 Corinthians 15:43 It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

1 Corinthians 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.

1 Corinthians 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1 Corinthians 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

1 Corinthians 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

1 Corinthians 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?  Jesus is coming!

What story will you have on the new Earth?

I often hear people express a desire to have lived during the time of religious greats such as Jesus and Moses.

I agree that it would have been interesting to live in the past, but unfortunately, time travel is not yet possible. Nevertheless, we are currently living in a great era, which is the end of the world, as prophesied in the Bible.

If you study the Bible and its description of the end times, you will see that the signs are already here. We can read the newspaper and see the signs of the end that the scriptures teach. Just like in Noah’s time, people are going on with their lives and trying to avoid the end.

We face multiple challenges in our world today. Diseases, superbugs, famine, earthquakes, floods, and societal issues like false teachings and moral decay and the Churches falling away from the truth are just a few of the problems we encounter.

The negative impact of media, including evil content on TV and the internet, is also a concern. The list of challenges we face is extensive and can be overwhelming.

Today’s Christians should have strong faith as the signs of the end, written 2,000 years ago, have suddenly come true in recent years.

The question is: what are you doing for Christ since you live at the end of the world?

Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

Colossians 3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

I imagine that when we reach the afterlife, we will be curious to hear about the experiences of biblical figures such as Peter, John, Moses, and Noah. We will want to know more about their lives, their actions, and the events that took place during their time.

I can picture Peter recounting his experiences with a crowd gathered around him, eager to hear what he had accomplished. And I can envision that eventually, the attention will turn to you, and people will gather around to listen to your stories of what it was like to live at the end of time.

And they will ask you, what did you do when you lived at the end of the world? This is a significant question that we should keep asking ourselves during these times. What would we do if we lived at the end of the world?

What actions would you take if you knew the world was about to end? Would you increase your prayer, read the Bible more, share the Gospel, and warn your loved ones?

What are you doing for Christ since you live at the end of the world? And what will you tell everyone on the other side when they ask for your story?

1 Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Galatians 6:4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

2 Cor 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

2 Cor 5:11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest unto God, and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Stand up, Speak against Evil

Qui Tacet Consentire Videtur. This Latin maxim means “He who remains silent is understood to consent.”“Consent= agreement to do something or permission for something to happen”.

Many in the pulpits have become silent to the evil in this world. Christian no longer stand against evil or speak out against it.

Most who call themselves a Christian, have become silent to many who in society cry out about their rights while taking away Christian rights. As the saying goes, if you stay silent against evil, you are in agreement with evil and giving permission to evil.

People who do evil and promote evil ways are haters of Jesus.

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Jesus is light and evil is darkness. When you’re in darkness, you stumble around because you are blind.

Christians have always stood against evil and brought light into darkness.

Prov 4:19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.

Eph 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

John 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

So when Christians stand against evil they are confronting evil in the world and bringing light unto the darkness in the world, so others can see.

Jesus stood against evil in his time and spoke against it. Preachers for 2,000 years have stood against evil and spoke against it.

Christians have never tolerated evil and spoke against it.

But at the end of the world which we live in most have become and no longer stand against evil and speak against it.and the pulpits are silent or agreeing to their evil ways.

Christians must speak out against evil and not be silent any longer.

Remember if your silent against evil, then you’re in agreement with evil and giving permission to evil.

Psalms 94:16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

Barely Warm Churches at the End

The church is made up of its congregation, not the building. Most churches have lukewarm individuals, but not all.

Modern churches usually hold weekly services lasting one to two hours, with revivals occurring only once or twice a year. Some offer coffee and donuts, while others have video games for children.

The churches of yesterday were held on Sunday morning as well as Sunday night. Most held Church at least 2 more times a week not including days for Bible study and other activities. Service would last 3 to 4 hours and sometimes longer.

They sang songs about God and to God, instead of songs about people in God. The congregation sung songs to God not have people get up in the front and sing to entertain the congregation.

They preached on sin and hell, which in most churches those two words are not spoken because it might offend someone.

After they would pray on their knees or at their seats for hours. Holiness and spreading the Gospel was a topic that was taught.

People came to Church to uplift there brothers and sisters and worship Jesus. Almost everyone carried their Bible to Church and you could tell it was being studied for all the wear and tear on it and all the notes and scriptures. Today most don’t have a Bible or most don’t bring it when they come to church.

Conversations were about the Bible, not gossip or a score on a certain sports game. Seats were full and in some only standing room. The revival was held many times throughout the year and everyone was taught to call their neighbors and family and friends and invite them. When a revival would be held the members did much prayer on their knees for the lost and many went out to invite people.

People in churches use to have such a pulling in their hearts for the lost. Christians used to go door to door and witness and passing out tracts was done at shopping centers and store parking lots.

Most churches stay closed all week and open one day a week. What the problem with churches is God is not there, but then why would he be.

2 Thessalonians say that the church must fall away from the truth before Jesus returns. And as we can see that has already happened. It also teaches that there will be false teachers in the pulpits.

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2 Peter 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

That is what the preachers in many churches and on TV are doing, taking the truth and twisting it and speaking evil of it.

Revelation 3:16 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Revelation 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Matthew 5:7-9 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Jude 1:3 That ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

How to Follow Jesus! Jesus is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE

One way to God!

Follow Jesus! Many people who go to church live their way or the world’s way, but not Jesus’s way. Jesus said that his way was the only way to God.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Many people want to say they’re saved, but their ways prove them different. Christians must die out to their ways and the world’s ways and take on Jesus’s ways daily.

1 John 2:15 “Love not the world”, neither the things that are in the world. If any man the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of is not of the but is of the world.

1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

If you love the world or the things in it, as many who go to church, then the love of the Father is not in you.

A Christians’ affection is on things of God, not on things of the earth.

Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. God says that if you’re a friend of the world, you are not of God. God says you are guilty of adultery because you are married unto Christ, and you left your first love and are committing adultery with the world.

James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Jesus said to die daily to your flesh and follow him.

Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

We are to be crucified with Jesus, die out to ourselves and the lust of our flesh. The life Christians live is Christ in them, no more for themselves.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me

The only way you will ever die out to your flesh daily and live for Christ is to have a renewed mind.

The only way to renew your mind is to be born again by the Word of God and grow thereby.

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

And when we are born again by the Word of God, then we are able to deny ungodliness and lust and live in this present world.

Titus 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.

Matthew 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Colossians 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Christianity has Ignited in South Korea

In 1974 South Korea sent out about 20 missionaries, but 40 years later the number grew to over 27,000 in more than 150 countries.

Christianity has spread in South Korea. Only 1 percent of the country’s population was Christians in 1885.

But the revival in Pyongyang in 1907 spread the growth of Christianity in Korea.

The revival meetings of 1907 lasted some 40 years and caused the rise in churches. Imagine a revival that lasts 40 years. Some Christians called it the Jerusalem of the east.

Prayers of repentance went across the Korean Peninsula. People walked hundreds of miles to attend revival meetings. This revival gave away to a prayer and repentance movement that is still being felt in South Korea.

Walking 100 miles to attend a revival meeting when many in America and around the world can’t drive a few miles to attend a revival, because their sports program is on that night.

The church tradition in the Myungsung Church is to go to the church at 5 a.m. to worship and pray before going to work. They just don’t pray once a week, but gather for early morning prayer every day, and has been for nearly 40 years.

The Church holds four-morning services 7 days a week, not just Sunday like most lukewarm churches around the world. The Myungsung Church has planted 24 churches and supports more than 500 missionaries in 63 countries. The church also supports a children’s home, a hospital, and other social ministries.

I think many lukewarm churches around the world need to repent and get on their knees and do what there brothers and sisters in Korea have done. Many churches around the world have become like the church of Laodiceans.

Revelations 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

Revelations 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Revelations 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Revelations 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

Psalms 80:19 Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Psalms 85:6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

Psalms 85:7 Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.

Psalms 85:8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

Ephesians 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Revelations 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Proverbs, the book of understanding Knowledge and Wisdom

If you are seeking knowledge and understanding, then I suggest studying the book of Proverbs.

Proverbs 1:6-7 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

Proverbs 3:4 So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

Proverbs 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

Proverbs 3:14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

Proverbs 3:15 Wisdom is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.

Proverbs 3:16 Length of days is in her right hand, and in her left hand riches and honour.

Proverbs 3:17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

Proverbs 3:18 Wisdom is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.

THIS IS GOD’S LOVE

This is God’s love

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Are you walking in the Flesh or Bearing Fruit unto God?

Are you walking in the flesh or the Spirit?

Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies. Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

If we planted a fruit tree and it never bore any fruit, what would we do? We would probably be thinking, where is the fruit and where is the axe?

Matthew 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire.

Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

So to enter the Kingdom of heaven you must bear fruit.

Galatians 5:22-23  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

If you have not crucified the flesh then you are not producing fruit.

Galatians 5:23 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so, we also should walk in newness of life.

Romans 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Romans 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

So many people who go to church and live in sin are not going to heaven, as some false denominations teach.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work sin.

World crisis

Why should the world care? The Amazon rainforest is the lungs of the planet. The lungs produce 20% of our planet’s oxygen.

By burning trees, the rainforest loses its ability to store carbon and it also releases more carbon into the atmosphere.

Since the 1950s, the Amazon rainforest has lost more than 15 percent of its original forest cover, and up to 1/2 of the forest has been partially destroyed.

The rainforest contains 20 percent of the world’s flowing fresh water. It contains a third of all known terrestrial plants, animals and insects and it affects rain patterns across the world.

It takes nature many, many years to create the Amazon rainforest, but man can destroy it within decades. They call that Deforestation, which is man-made destruction.

Man is destroying the forest for greed. They do that by agriculture and cattle ranching, oil and gas production, mining and logging. There are around 400 billion trees across the Amazon, and more than 86 billion tons of carbon are stored in the forest, that’s a third worldwide.

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Luke 21:36 Watch ye, therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. World crisis!

Authority in the Bible

Rightly Dividing the Word of God!

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Studying the word of God is crucial to understanding God and his principles and how to apply them to yourself.

A desire to learn, a good dictionary and a Strong’s concordance with your Bible is a good start.

Rightly divide in the Greek means correctly to understand the Word of God. We do this by precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and they’re a little, as Isaiah teaches. And always keep the Word in the context, which means the situation within which something exists or happens.

If you take any subject and then take a Strong’s and look up all the scriptures on that word, those scriptures will lead you to the Truth on that subject.

That is the correct way to divide the Word rightly. This way, it is the Word that is teaching you the Truth thru many scriptures.

Many people in the church world don’t go by the word, but they rely instead on books or denominational teachings or something they heard from a preacher teach to base their doctrine on.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly he furnished unto all good works.

Basing your beliefs on one or two scriptures can lead you down the wrong path. All doctrine should be based on many scriptures on whatever subject you are studying. What you base your salvation on, is the doctrine, which has eternal consequences. So work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Immense seller

The Bible is the world’s best selling book, having sold more than 6 billion copies. Every person who has access to the Bible has an eternal treasure within their hands.

People take the words of God for granted, not apprehending that at their fingertips is the words breathed by God and given to the writers of the Bible, by the Spirit of truth.

When you read the Bible you are rewarded with words spoken by God and have the opportunity to understand what God thinks about many subjects.

What a wonderful gift that has been given to humans.

So the next time you pick up the Bible, remember this is a chance to hear from God.

It is the hearing of the Word that brings everyone unto Christ.

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The Bible teaches how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace.

Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things! The sad thing to report is less than half of practicing Christians in the U.S. spend serious time engaging with their Bible, according to the American Bible Society, and the rest of the country is even worse.

The American Bible Society presented evidence gathered from a six-year assessment of the state of the Bible conducted by the Barna Group which shows that just 18 percent of the American population in general reads the Bible.

There are those who do not believe the Bible, and they categorize the Bible as just another book or fairytales. But they also are opposed to the Bible and consider it a dangerous book.

The Bible has 66 separate books, written over 1,600 years, by at least 40 authors. The Old Testament contains 39 books written from approximately 1500 to 400 BC, and the New Testament contains 27 books written from approximately 40 to 90 AD.

Around 40 AD, through about 90 AD, the eye-witnesses to the life of Jesus, including Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, James, Peter, and Jude, wrote the Gospels, letters and books that became the Bible’s New Testament. They quoted from 31 books of the Old Testament, and their material was so popular that by about 150 AD, early Christians were referring to the entire set of writings as the New Covenant.

But what makes the Bible the most wonderful book given to humans is that it is God-breathed.

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Another reason it’s the most wonderful gift given to humans is the words in it are alive.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Let’s study the word of God intensively and diligently seek him.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Immense seller.

The Foundation of the Christian Doctrine is Built Upon the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ Himself Being the Chief Corner Stone

The cornerstone, which is Jesus is the first stone set in the construction of a foundation.

That stone is most important since all other stones will be set in reference to this stone, thus determining the position of the entire structure.

This alignment is to understand that all scriptures of the apostles and prophets will align with the teachings of Jesus, which makes the foundation of our Christian doctrine.

So whatever Jesus taught, will guide us through the whole Bible and brings everything in the Bible into the right context.

We are a lively stone in that spiritual house, which is the body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which is God’s.

Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone; In whom all the building fitly framed together growth unto a holy temple in the Lord:

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.

1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby :

1 Peter 2:3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

1 Peter 2:4 To who coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

1 Peter 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

1 Peter 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

1 Peter 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Matthew 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Matthew 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Matthew 7:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Jesus is that rock!

False Teaching is Rampant in the Modern World

Many television teachers promote false teachings, and many denominations are also affected.

In addition to the false teachings on TV and within many denominations, numerous books contain false teachings.

The internet is filled with misinformation and misleading teachings.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lustfulness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Many people in modern society attend churches to justify themselves but do not obey the words in the Bible.

Many preachers lack the backbone to tell their congregations the truth, instead opting to tickle their ears.

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

2 Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Peter says, because of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. This situation involves twisting the truth and taking it out of context, resulting in false teachings.

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2 Peter 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom ( the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

And the ones that except it is those who are not rooted and grounded in the Word. Many behind the pulpits are false teachers and teaching gain is godliness.

1 Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

1 Timothy 6:4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

1 Timothy 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth supposing that ( gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

1 Timothy 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.

1 Timothy 6:7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

1 Timothy 6:8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

1 Timothy 6:9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

And to keep everything in context, the love of money or the things it buys is the root of all evil, not money itself, but the love of it.

I believe the Bible warns us in many places that not everyone who says, “Lord, Lord,” will enter in. Jesus will say, “Depart from me, you workers of sin.

Everyone should use Scripture as their standard when being taught. Studying the Word and accurately interpreting it is essential.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The Bible teaches to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Don’t let others work out your salvation, but go to the word and study and make sure you have it right.

Jude 1:3 I exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Jesus said he was the way. And that way is the Bible way.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Matthew 10:36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

Matthew 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Matthew 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Matthew 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Following Jesus means striving to become more like Him. One must embrace and practice His teachings to be a true disciple of Christ.

To truly become a follower of Jesus, it is essential to immerse yourself in the teachings of the Bible.

By engaging deeply with its passages, you will better understand His message, values, and actions. This study will strengthen your faith and guide your daily life.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:16 All scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

Many think they are Christians but are not following the ways of Jesus, who will not receive eternal life.

Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The Word Cleanse you

The words in the Bible cleanse us by changing us like Jesus.

Ephesians 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.

Ephesians 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

John 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Psalms 119:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

The words in the Bible are alive.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

We are born again by the Word of God which cleanses us, so we become without spot or without blemish, Holy and glorious as we continue in the word. The Holy Word reproves us, correct us, and is are instruction into righteousness to base our doctrine on.

All of the scriptures are the seeds planted in us. We become more like Jesus as we study to show ourselves approved unto God, rightly dividing the Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

The word engrafted means implanted so as we study the word it gets implanted in us.

James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word is able to save your souls. We are saved by hearing the word.

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

We are born again by the word of God.

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Christian sites that are Worldly

I like going to the different suppose to be Christian sites on the internet and reading their articles.

The problem is many of them seem to become more worldly year after year, this year being the worst.

I’ve noticed on a majority of them they value their own words more than the Holy word.

They will have page after page and article after article full of their words and only the Bible chapter and verses as a reference, instead of the word wrote out.

I guess they missed where the word is God and alive and powerful and a discerner of your thoughts and heart and the scriptures are God-breathed, not their rhetoric.

John 1:1, In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive, , and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Many sites exalt worldly famous people who claim to have come to Christ that only give lip service to Jesus but still are living worldly.

Heroes of the world don’t mean you’re a hero of God. Heroes of God are in Hebrews 11: which makes the heroes of the world look foolish.

These worldly people who go to church and have websites who glorify famous people who claim to believe in Christ, need to read the Bible.

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

They think if they have someone famous in the world that claims to come over to Christ that is supposed to mean something. I say rubbish, it’s no different than any person that’s not famous that comes to Christ.

Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth, I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

And neither is real Christians respecter of people or uplift one person over another. To be a real Christian you must give up the world and separate yourself from it.

Esaias prophesied of these types that are hypocrites and the denominations and preachers who promote them are hypocrites as well.

Matthew 15:7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

Matthew 15:8 These people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

They are only Christian sites because they say they are, but you shall know them by their fruits.

2 Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

2 Corinthians 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

And most all worldly famous people who claim to be Christian, only have lip service to God and are still as worldly as ever, which you can see by their music or sports or movies that they still participate in.

I believe missionaries who take their families overseas and move there to preach the Gospel and serve other people are true heroes, not famous worldly people who only give lip service to God.

One missionary is better than a hundred thousand world heroes that claim to be Christian.

The people who promote this lie of famous people are not bringing Christ to the world, but bringing the world to Christians.

A Lesson on Faith, Peter, the Fish, the Coin

Luke 1:37 “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

Jesus tells Peter to go fishing, and the first fish he catches opens its mouth, and there will be a coin in there, and he pays the taxes.

I can imagine Peter as he walked down the road and started to think about the first fish and a coin in its mouth. He was a fisherman, and his brother also as well as James and John, and had never heard of a person catching a fish with a coin in its mouth, especially the very first fish you catch.

I imagine he thought, what if there isn’t a coin in its mouth? Do I fish for another?

Do I keep it up until I find a fish with a coin in its mouth?

But then Jesus did say the first one. What if I don’t catch a fish with a coin in its mouth? What do I do?

Should I go back and tell Jesus if there is no coin in its mouth?

Peter knew that if he did go back to Jesus and tell him there was no coin in the first fish’s mouth, then again Peter would hear Jesus say o ye of little faith.

I believe as Peter got close to the water, he thought, what if there was a coin in the first fish’s mouth that I catch?

And the more he thought about it, the more his expectations grew. And then he was curious as he drew closer to the water.

I’m sure he couldn’t wait to catch that fish and see if there was a coin in its mouth

I imagine as he pulled the fish out of the water, he couldn’t wait to open the fish’s mouth. As he opened its mouth, therein its mouth was a coin, just as Jesus said there would be.

Peter will never forget when he went fishing for a coin to pay taxes. He thought that Jesus had to be the Messiah and couldn’t wait to return and tell the other disciples what had happened with the fish with the coin in its mouth.

Matthew 17:24 And when they came to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?

Matthew 17:25 He saith, Yes. And when he into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?

Matthew 17:26 Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.

Matthew 17:27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

Luke 1:37 “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

Are you Born Again by the Word of God?

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, and we are born again by the Word. As newborn babes, we take the milk of the Word and grow thereby.

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

People in modern society have an excellent opportunity to hear what God thinks by reading the Holy Word of God. Since all scripture is God-breathed, that means that God moved on those who wrote the scriptures in the books of the Bible.

You are reading the words of the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the earth. What an opportunity every person has to read the words of God. The words in the Bible are the truth since God cannot lie.

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Many people in the church world don’t read the Bible. Reports say that over 75% of churchgoers don’t read the Bible, let alone study it.

Many have opinions about the Bible, but their opinions are not scripture-based. They base their beliefs on a person on TV or a book they read and never check those beliefs against scripture.

Renewing our minds involves replacing old thoughts with new, righteous ones by studying the Bible.

Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

Ephesians 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind.

Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

The word of God teaches us to base our doctrine, which is our beliefs, on scripture.

People in modern society are not taking the most crucial thing in their lives seriously, which is their salvation. The scriptures teach to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, but many are taking their salvation for granted.

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

It is the hearing of the Word that brings everyone unto Christ.

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The Bible teaches how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace.

Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

The Word of God is alive and at work in us, exposing our innermost thoughts and desires as we study the Bible.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

We study the Word to show ourselves approved unto God by rightly dividing the Word. Here a little and there a little, precept upon precept, and concept upon concept.

As you study the Word, you will find out that the verses connect with other verses until each subject explains itself through the Bible.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

As you grow in the Word, you will find out there are many depths to the Word. The Word is like an onion with many layers, and as much as you think you know about the Word of God, there are more truths, and the depth is infinite.

2 Corinthians 2:14 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

It is necessary to transform oneself by aligning one’s thoughts with the teachings of the Bible.

Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.
