Kindness can make you Healthier and Happier

An article from mayo clinic says there is a science behind that phenomenon called “loving-kindness.”

And research shows that learning and practicing loving-kindness can profoundly affect your attitude, outlook, and even your health.

The act of helping others actually activates the part of your brain that makes you feel pleasure.

It also releases a hormone called oxytocin that helps modulate social interactions and emotion the higher your oxytocin levels.

The kinder you act toward others, the better you will feel. Like anything else, engaging in loving-kindness gets easier with practice.

But Christians already know this because the Bible 2,000 years ago taught loving-kindness.

The Bible teaches to be transformed by the renewing of your mind with the word of God.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

We are to study the word and practice it until the way of christ becomes us and the old man dies out.

Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

Ephesians 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

1 Corinthians 16:14 Let all your things be done with love.

Colossians 3:14  And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfectness.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God, and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent love among yourselves: for love shall cover the multitude of sins.

And Corinthians 13: is God’s love that all Christians are required to have.

1 John 4:8 He that loveth NOT knoweth not God; for God is love.

1 Corinthians 13:4 Love suffereth long, love is kind;  love is not jealous; love does not brag, love is not pride,

1 Corinthians 13:5 Love doth not behave itself unseemly, love seeketh not her own, love is not easily provoked, love thinketh no evil;

1 Corinthians 13:6 love rejoiceth not in iniquity, love rejoiceth in the truth;

1 Corinthians 13:7  Love beareth all things, love believeth all things, love hopeth all things, love endureth all things.

1 Corinthians 13:8 Love never faileth:
