A record-high percentage of Americans believe the Bible is a collection of “fables” recorded by men, and a record-low percentage believe it to be the “actual word of God,” according to a new Gallup survey.
For a book to be only fables, the end time and prophecies are everyone’s reality today.
But then, most Americans haven’t even read the New Testament, let alone the whole Bible, or studied it.
For people to say it’s not God’s word, you must read it first to have any worthwhile opinion.
So the Gallup poll to see if people who have not read the Bible believe in it is somewhat corny. That is like saying I don’t believe in Quantum physicists when I’m not a physicist.
What it should have pooled is people who have read the Bible through, then asked how much of the word of God did you study, and now do you believe it’s the “word of God?”
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The Poll found that 29 percent of adults in the U.S. say they believe the Bible is an “ancient book of fables, legends, history, and moral precepts recorded by man,” while 20 percent of adults, the lowest ever, say they believe it is the “actual word of God and is to be taken literally, word for word.”
I have studied it, and I can guarantee it’s true. But don’t take my word for it. You study it.
People believing it’s the real word of God has fallen since many Americans are evil compared to 50 years ago.
Many reasons include people behind the lukewarm pulpits or just false teachers.
2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 Peter 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
But not just lukewarm preachers or false teachers but many people who go to church who want their ears tickled by preachers that say pleasant things and teach fables instead of truth from the word.
1 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
1 Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
That’s a good reason people believe it is a fable since people behind the pulpit don’t believe in the word of God either. Many churches have fallen from the truth and become political centers that have no place in a church.

2 Thessalonians 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first.
Television is another culprit of the church being lukewarm. From all the trash that’s on it to the evil news that only talks politics.
Many Americans are rich and selfish and want to avoid the truth, so they can live just not in the world but be a part of worldly lust. Many Americans love to be entertained; even their churches entertain them.
This is a sign of the end of the world and the return of Jesus. I believe revelations 3 is an example of the modern church in America. Revelations 3: the Laodiceans church.
Revelations 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
The reason is if your hot, you will teach others the truth and be a light to those who walk in darkness.
If your cold, then you do no harm to the church.
But if you are lukewarm, you harm the church by teaching false ways and teaching others to be like you and to be of the world until the church has become just another club that you pay dues to and go there to interact with others who are like you.
Revelations 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Revelations 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
Revelations 3: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
2 Timothy is the state of the church at the end of the world, which is the exact description of many churches not just in America but worldwide.
2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2 Timothy 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2 Timothy 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2 Timothy 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
2 Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2 Timothy 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
