According to a recent poll, the percentage of Americans who prioritize religious faith has decreased from 62 percent in 1998 to only 39 percent in current times.
Furthermore, only 31 percent of individuals under the age of 30 consider religion a significant factor, whereas 55 percent of those aged 65 and above feel the same way.
1 Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from sin.
1 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
1 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
The study found that the love of money has become more important over the last 25 years. The percentage of Americans who trust in money has risen from 31 percent to 43 percent.
Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and money.
1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
I believe the main news agencies no longer tell much news but have become outlets for political news for the Democrats or Republicans.
Now there’s a new push to bring a foundation of biblical principles to American politics. Biblical principles and politics do not go together. Politicians are not Christians.
Politics in America has become a religion in America!
Evangelical leaders, including alums from the Trump administration’s Faith Advisory Council, helped launch the “Biblical Foundations Project” in D.C.
Paula White of the AFPI Center for American Values said, “Politics matter because policy matters, policy matters because people matter, and politics is really the ability to organize and influence.” But as usual, worldly people don’t understand God but are interested in the world.
White-Cain also served as an advisor to President Donald J. Trump in the Office of Public Liaison’s Faith and Opportunity Initiative.
With most Television so-called evangelists, it’s about money in their pockets, and their teaching is false by pulling scriptures out of context.
2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 Peter 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
1 Timothy 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
If you understand the Bible and listen to these so-called evangelists, it only takes minutes to figure out they are lost and don’t know the truth. The church has fallen away because of supposed to be evangelists and Pastors preaching politics instead of the truth in the Bible.
The good news (Gospel) has nothing to do with politics. Leave the politics to the politicians and the worldly people and the teaching of the Bible truth to the preachers.
If your pastor or any preacher you listen to is involved with politics, then you should find another church. God has no interest in politics, and he is only interested in the salvation of people.
Christians don’t want a Democrat running the country, but politics has no place in the church or coming from the pulpit.
I believe so-called preachers should go back and read the Bible because it teaches the very opposite. We are pilgrims passing through, this world, and the world is not our home, but we look for a place whose builder, and maker, is God.
Hebrews 11:3 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
1 Peter 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.
Phillippians 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
1 John 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
I believe those scriptures should tell everyone that preachers have no business preaching from the pulpit or promoting politics.
The Bible calls them adulteresses and enemies of God because they have left their first love if they ever loved Christ and have committed adultery with the world through politics.
James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2 Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
1 Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
1 Timothy 6:4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
1 Timothy 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
