Christians have a comforter that lives within them, the Holy Spirit. We don’t just have God with us as it was in the times of the Old Testament, but he dwells within us too.
So when bad times come, as we see around the world, we have a comforter within us.

We are not of this world but pilgrims passing through.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
At the end of the world and all the calamity that is going on, Christians can be happy because we know that Jesus will return and gather us up to him in the clouds, and we will be with him for eternity.
