The devastating effects of a nuclear bomb detonating in New York City is very chilling.
The consequences of nuclear explosions in major cities worldwide were developed with assistance from a nuclear historian at the Stevens Institute of Technology.
Detonating a weapon similar to the “Fat Man,” which was dropped on Nagasaki on August 9, 1945, in New York would result in catastrophic devastation. The “Fat Man” had a yield of 20 kilotons.
Wallerstein’s modeling estimates that such a catastrophic event could result in 287,660 deaths and 515,160 injuries. The light blast could damage areas as far as Jersey City, causing shattered windows and injuries, despite being the “lightest” impact of a nuclear explosion.
The explosion’s fireball would primarily impact Soho and Noho, vaporizing anything within a radius of at least 597.113 feet.
The impact of a powerful explosion would reach up to half a mile, causing extensive damage or total destruction to concrete structures. According to the map, the Little Italy area would be most affected by such an explosion, likely resulting in a 100 percent fatality rate.
The radioactive fallout from the explosion would cover two miles, likely causing most residents in Greenwich Village and Hudson Square to perish. An estimated 15 percent of survivors may die within a month from radiation-induced cancer.
According to the model, the radius of moderate blast damage would extend for 3.5 miles, resulting in the collapse of most residential buildings and leading to widespread fatalities.
Additionally, the likelihood of fires spreading would increase, compounding the destruction. The radius of thermal radiation would extend nearly six miles, guaranteeing third-degree burns with complete certainty.
Interestingly, victims often do not feel pain from these burns because the nerves that transmit pain signals are destroyed. The spread of radiation is indicated to reach as far as the Meat Packing District.
Some people believe that New York City is the biblical Mystery Babylon.
Revelations 8:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
Revelations 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
Revelations 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
Revelations 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.
Revelations 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
Revelations 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
Revelations 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Revelations 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
Revelations 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
Revelations 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
Revelations 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
Revelations 18:9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
Revelations 18:10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
Genesis 6:6 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and diseases; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
