If you don’t read and study the Bible, your spiritual growth will be hindered.

Many people in the modern world are neglecting the most crucial aspect of their lives, which is their salvation. However, the scriptures instruct us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.
Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
The act of actively listening to the Word of God is what leads everyone to Christ.
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
The Bible teaches how beautiful the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace are.
Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they are sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Faith is obtained by hearing the Word of God. We are born again through the Word. As newborns, we take in the milk of the Word and grow thereby.

The Word of God is alive and works within us, revealing our innermost thoughts and desires to those who study it.

We study the Word in order to be approved by God by rightly dividing the Word. We do this little by little, precept upon precept, and concept upon concept.
As you study the Bible, you will discover that verses are interconnected and each subject is explained throughout the text.
2 Timothy 2:15 “Study” to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
As you progress in your study of the Bible, you will encounter various levels of comprehension. The Bible can be compared to an onion with multiple layers; regardless of how much you believe you understand it, there will always be additional truths to uncover. The profundity of the Bible is boundless.
Jesus will say to many that he never knew them because they did not know him.
Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work sin.
