Recently, we have heard about God moving into college campuses, churches, and cities. Missionaries are trying to evangelize an entire country. Two U.S. mission organizations follow the Holy Spirit to do just that in Nicaragua.
A miraculous story is unfolding of Nicaraguans attending mass evangelism campaigns, and witnessing a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit in their country.
Missionary Britt Hancock of the organization Mountain Gateway followed God’s call to help lead these events, along with Evangelist Nathan Morris of Shake the Nation ministries.
Around 650,000 people have attended the outreaches this year, with one more campaign this year. And more than a dozen are planned for next year.
People are baptized in the Holy Spirit spontaneously. They had people come out of wheelchairs, lame walking, deaf ears opened, blinded eyes opened.
One of the missionary wives said it is overwhelming, “And so when you stand up on the stage, and you see all of these people coming and coming and coming, even on the way there as you’re driving, there are lines of buses, just bus after bus.”
They have had so many miracles, the government has decided to let them use the national plaza, which holds around 300,000 people.
They hope by the end of next year, they will have evangelized an entire country. The country has six million people; it’s about the size of Alabama in geographic terms.
