I often hear people express a desire to have lived during the time of religious greats such as Jesus and Moses.
I agree that it would have been interesting to live in the past, but unfortunately, time travel is not yet possible. Nevertheless, we are currently living in a great era, which is the end of the world, as prophesied in the Bible.
If you study the Bible and its description of the end times, you will see that the signs are already here. We can read the newspaper and see the signs of the end that the scriptures teach. Just like in Noah’s time, people are going on with their lives and trying to avoid the end.
We face multiple challenges in our world today. Diseases, superbugs, famine, earthquakes, floods, and societal issues like false teachings and moral decay and the Churches falling away from the truth are just a few of the problems we encounter.
The negative impact of media, including evil content on TV and the internet, is also a concern. The list of challenges we face is extensive and can be overwhelming.
Today’s Christians should have strong faith as the signs of the end, written 2,000 years ago, have suddenly come true in recent years.
The question is: what are you doing for Christ since you live at the end of the world?
Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
Colossians 3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
I imagine that when we reach the afterlife, we will be curious to hear about the experiences of biblical figures such as Peter, John, Moses, and Noah. We will want to know more about their lives, their actions, and the events that took place during their time.
I can picture Peter recounting his experiences with a crowd gathered around him, eager to hear what he had accomplished. And I can envision that eventually, the attention will turn to you, and people will gather around to listen to your stories of what it was like to live at the end of time.
And they will ask you, what did you do when you lived at the end of the world? This is a significant question that we should keep asking ourselves during these times. What would we do if we lived at the end of the world?
What actions would you take if you knew the world was about to end? Would you increase your prayer, read the Bible more, share the Gospel, and warn your loved ones?
What are you doing for Christ since you live at the end of the world? And what will you tell everyone on the other side when they ask for your story?
1 Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
Galatians 6:4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
2 Cor 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
2 Cor 5:11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest unto God, and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
