By selling it for $666.66, they were showing that they believed the modern-day computer was the modern-day equivalent of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, encompassing all brands and not just theirs.
In 1989, CERN made history by inventing the World Wide Web (WWW), revolutionizing how information is shared globally. This groundbreaking creation forever transformed the world’s communication and information systems.
The internet has become a deity to many in the modern world. Many turn to it and heed its advice for all their problems.
Many people seek advice from the Internet rather than turning to the Holy Scriptures.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
The internet is a powerful tool for spreading both good and evil. While some people use it to share the truth, others exploit it to spread lies and false doctrines.
“Some harness its power to connect with others and acquire knowledge, while others exploit it for malicious intent.”
Even on religious forums, people use it to make friends and spread the truth, while others use it to spread lies and cause arguing and hate.
“People have become so accustomed to the internet that they willingly expose their minds to a wide range of positive and negative information.
Whenever you engage in discussions about religion on a forum with non-believers or read their posts, you may find doubts creeping into your mind.
The Bible teaches us to cast down everything that comes into our mind that is against God, but people are doing the opposite by feeding on people’s evil replies on social media.
All Christians should be cautious of sites that atheists and false teachings from unbelievers control. These sites can break down your faith and confuse you with lies.
The internet is flooded with diverse opinions on the meaning of scriptures. This abundance of information can easily confuse even those who have studied the Bible, let alone individuals who are new to God or have not studied for very long.
The World Wide Web is a source of deception and can potentially harm people spiritually, becoming a major battlefield for the mind and spirit.
2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
We should recognize the computer as the modern-day equivalent of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and be vigilant against falsehoods and false doctrine.
2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
