“Is the Iran Threat Being Softened for the Public?”

“Iran has been a long-standing threat to the United States and currently poses an immediate danger,” said CIA Director John Ratcliffe during the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence hearing on Wednesday.

A Pakistani national, Asif Merchant, was convicted earlier this month for attempting to organize an assassination plot against then-President Donald Trump on behalf of Iranian intelligence. During the trial, he admitted to working with them in the murder-for-hire scheme.

The Justice Department has charged Afghan national Farhad Shakeri for allegedly participating in a murder-for-hire plot directed by an unnamed Iranian intelligence official. Shakeri is currently believed to be living in Iran.

Faddis expressed concerns that Iran may have sleeper cells in the U.S. capable of carrying out terrorist attacks in retaliation for the ongoing conflict, remarking, “The individuals we apprehended are the ones who are easier to catch.”

“We apprehended the careless individuals. The organized ones, who know how to operate effectively, remain unseen. This doesn’t mean they aren’t here.”

In January, the Department of Homeland Security announced the deportation of three Iranian nationals living illegally in the U.S. They were former members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, a U.S.-designated terrorist organization.

All entered the country illegally across the Southern Border in 2024. Last year, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested 11 Iranian nationals living illegally in the U.S., including three with ties to the Iranian military and suspected terrorism connections.

Intelligence suggests Iran’s ballistic missile program is aimed at potential conflict with the U.S., and before the recent war, Tehran was close to a deal with China for anti-ship cruise missiles that could threaten U.S. naval vessels.

The CM-302, a supersonic missile used by China for over a decade, is considered “the most dangerous anti-ship missile” produced by the country. U.S. air defense teams would have only about 45 seconds to intercept it after detection. Iran’s late Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, who died in February 2026 during U.S. and Israeli airstrikes, was vocal about his country’s intentions to use such missiles.

In response to President Trump’s deployment of an aircraft carrier to the Middle East, Khamenei told “Iran Insight” that while an aircraft carrier is dangerous, a weapon capable of sinking it is even more so. Additionally, Iran has signed a $589 million deal with Russia for advanced shoulder-fired missiles to target cruise missiles, low-flying aircraft, and drones.

Soldiers can quickly utilize portable weapons and disperse, enhancing their survivability compared to traditional fixed radar air defense systems. Russia is set to deliver launchers and rockets to Iran starting in 2027, with no expedited shipments due to the recent U.S. conflict.

Trump previously warned that Iran could develop ICBMs capable of reaching the U.S. by leveraging knowledge from its space program. Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs) are long-range missiles that can deliver both nuclear and conventional payloads.

In his February State of the Union address, Trump stated, “They’ve developed missiles that can threaten Europe and our bases overseas, and are working on missiles that will soon reach the U.S.” He warned against any future attempts to rebuild their nuclear weapons program.

1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

1 John 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

1 John 4:6  We are of Godhe that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1 John 4:7  Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 John 4:8  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Luke 21:9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.

Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and diseases; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
