China’s State Administration of Religious Affairs announced new measures restricting all forms of religious activities.
Live Christian broadcasts or online recordings of religious ceremonies are banned.
Churches, religious groups, and colleges that planned to conduct online worship services would be required to obtain an Internet Religious Information Service Permit.
The new measures took effect on March 1, 2022. Chinese President Xi Jinping introduced “Sinicization” in 2015 with plans to make religious groups within China submit to socialism and the Chinese Communist Party ideology which is antichrist.
China is ranked 17th where Christians suffer the most persecution.
The Global Times, China’s state-owned antichrist newspaper, reported that “Any Chinese organization or individual that operates online religious information services should apply to provincial religious affairs departments.”
China’s President, Xi Jinping spoke at the National Conference on Work-Related to Religious Affairs where he reaffirmed that the “Sinicization” of religion shall align with the Chinese Communist Party goals and guidelines.
The country known as the “Red Dragon” is China.
