The Chinese government is launching a new campaign to rid the country of illegal social organizations, a category that includes millions of Christians who worship in illegal house churches.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
The number of Christians who worship in house churches is unknown but is estimated to be in the tens of millions.
Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
The Chinese government thinks of any religious group that refuses to submit to the CCP, as an illegal organization.
The CCP is another way to control the Chinese people by requiring churches to register with the government and join either the Three-Self Patriotic Movement for Protestants or the Chinese Patriotic Catholic Association.
Then, these churches that join face severe restrictions, including limits on what pastors can say and a ban on children’s attendance.
For these reasons millions of Christians have gone underground to house churches where they meet in homes and buildings to worship. Free to worship God and tell the truth to those who are there.
The government of China is an antichrist and are the instruments of the devil.
