According to the teachings of the Bible, we experience a spiritual rebirth through being Born Again by the Word of God. Despite many claiming to have been reborn, their actions don’t reflect this transformation.
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.
To comprehend being born again by the Word of God, you must consider that studying the Bible will transform your life.

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. We are born again through the Word. As newborns, we take the milk of the Word and grow.
So, to be born again by the word, you start as a baby and then grow by studying the milk of the word and growing by it until it transforms your mind into the ways of Jesus.
Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
You cannot know the way, truth, or life of Jesus without studying the Bible.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
2 Timothy 2:15 “Study” to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
People in modern society have a great opportunity to hear what God thinks by reading the Holy Word of God. Since all scripture is God-breathed, that means that God moved on those who wrote the scriptures in the books of the Bible.
According to reports, over 75% of churchgoers don’t read or study the Bible.
There are many people who have their own opinions about what the Bible teaches. However, their opinions are not based on scripture. Instead, they base their beliefs on external sources like books or TV personalities.
They never bother to verify if their beliefs align with scripture or not. As believers, we must base our doctrine, which is our beliefs, solely on the teachings of the Bible.
Many people in churches do not give due importance to the most important part of their lives, which is their salvation.
The scriptures teach individuals to work on their salvation with great care and attention, yet many neglect this crucial aspect of their lives and take it for granted.
Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
If you study the Bible, the Word of God is alive and at work in us and exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The Word is God-breathed. It serves as our doctrine, reproof, correction, and guide to righteousness. Our doctrine should be based on it and used for reproof and correction; it is our instruction on how to be righteous.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Proverbs 4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Proverbs 4:21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
Proverbs 4:22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
We study the Word to present ourselves as approved to God as workers who don’t need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth. Here a little, there a little, line upon line, precept upon precept, a little bit at a time.
As you study the Bible, you will find that verses connect with each other, and each subject explains itself.
2 Timothy 2:15 “Study” to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
As you study deeper into the Word, you’ll discover its many layers. The Word is like an onion with infinite depths, and no matter how much you learn about the Word of God, there will always be more truths to uncover.
By being born again by the Word of God, you can find the guidance and strength necessary to become a new person in Christ, which is a Christian.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Galatians 1:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Don’t be like the many who take the broad way.
Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2 Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
Be one of the few who study the Bible and find the truth.
Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Many who go to church and say they are Christian and are born again will be the ones that Jesus will say he never knew them.
Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
I encourage you to read the Bible to discover the timeless Word of God, which remains infallible yesterday, today, and forever.
