The World needs Jesus and the Teaching of the Bible

Families breaking down, high rates of loneliness and anxiety. Skyrocketing drug addiction and violent crime.

The world is facing many serious issues that are eroding it to the core. More than ever, you hear people saying we live in “crazy times” and they are hopeless about the future.

There’s a lot of evidence to suggest a simple explanation: We turned our backs on Christianity, one of the greatest sources of human happiness.

Clearly, as time passes, we are becoming less God-focused. Our new false gods are social media, money, pop culture, politics, and ourselves.

Many churches have taken the Gospel of Jesus Christ and tried to change it into a therapeutic religion and spirituality; they have distorted the Words in the Bible.

Mark 1:7 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

Mark 1:8 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Galatians 1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

If we can confess our sins, it’s not difficult to see how and why our churches are falling away from the truth.  Now is the time to hold fast to the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus Christ has overcome the world.

Only when we hold fast to the Good News of Jesus Christ can we avoid being sickened by a generation that has lost all power to understand itself and has wrong standards?

Only God’s Word can reveal the truth about us, our nations, and our churches. The truth in the Bible is our refuge, strength, and only source of salvation.

John 8:12  Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Ephesians 5:8  For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Matthew 5:16  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.

Most churches are full of false teachings and only hold service once a week for a one or two-hour service. Many have tried worldly music and flashing lights to entertain their congregations.

The Bible has become an outdated version of Christianity in many churches.

The supposed-to-be Christian TV, as well as the web, is full of false teachers. On TV, it’s mostly charlatans who want your money so they can live ravenously with their private jets and live in their mansions.

The Bible warns us that those who are consumed by greed will use deceitful tactics to exploit others for their own gain, living a lavish lifestyle at the expense of those around them.

Don’t be fooled into thinking you’re giving to God when you support greedy individuals. Be mindful of where your money goes, and don’t fall prey to the lies of those who seek to profit from your generosity.

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2 Peter 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

2 Peter 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

The web is full of lies and false teachings. It’s as the Bible says; they are speaking evil of the way of truth by twisting the scriptures to prove their evil ways.

What happens to churches preaching on sin and the consequences of sinning, which is the lake of fire?

Many churches teach that Jesus died for past, present, and future sins, leading Christians to sin.

The type of people that attend these churches are sinners looking for a license to sin.

If the righteous are scarcely saved, then the ungodly and sinners will go to the lake of fire.

1 Peter 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

That lie from the devil is a license to sin.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

As Jude says, churches must earnestly contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints.

Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
