“Warning” Insect Apocalypse is happening now!

Scientists warn that the disappearance of insects would significantly affect the environment and production system.

A recent study by the Biodiversity and Environment Research Center at University College London found that in some agricultural areas, the number of “insects has decreased by 63% in 10 years.” Insects have also decreased by 25% in their natural habitat.

A 2019 Technical University of Munich study found that only “33% of insect species survive in intensively farmed areas over ten years.”

The Munich study does not downplay the importance of the disappearance of insects recorded in the forests of Germany. According to their findings, 40% of the insects have been lost since 2007.

Insects play vital roles in ecosystems. Some species pollinate flowers, while others help control pests and decompose organic matter, releasing essential nutrients into the soil.

Insects are a vital food source for a diverse range of animals, including many species of birds, amphibians, bats, and reptiles. These animals rely on insects for their nutritional needs, as they provide high protein and essential nutrients necessary for their survival.

Additionally, insects play an indispensable role in the ecosystem by facilitating the pollination of flowering plants. Through this process, they ensure the reproduction of many plants, which in turn supports the food chain and maintains biodiversity within various habitats.

Flying insects play crucial ecological roles, making their populations significant. Their decline has serious impacts on entire ecosystems. Pollinators enhance or stabilize the yields of three-quarters of global crop varieties.

About 60 percent of birds depend on insects for food, and at least 80 percent of wild plants rely on them for pollination. If insects were to disappear, ecosystems worldwide would collapse.

In the case of pollination, it should be noted that it is also essential for the crops that are intended for human consumption, so the disappearance of these insects would cause serious problems in the global production and supply system.

The importance of pollinating insects for our crops is demonstrated by the fact that around 80% of cultivated plants depend on this function fulfilled by insects. A professor at the University of Sussex  in England points out that “without insects, 80% of wild plant species would not be able to reproduce and would end up becoming extinct.”

Insects are essential for “75% of crops to be profitable and our survival,” but they are disappearing at an alarming rate. A study by the Technical University of Munich suggests that insects could become completely extinct, which would have severe consequences for our ecosystem and food supply.

Without pollinating insects, our diet would rely solely on wind-pollinated crops like wheat and corn, eliminating fruits and vegetables.

Studies indicate a concerning situation in high-intensity agricultural areas of tropical countries. These areas are home to most of the 5.5 million insect species, which are at risk due to climate change and the loss of their natural habitats.

Puerto Rico’s Luquillo rainforest has seen a “60% drop in insect species” compared to the 1970s due to a two-degree temperature rise in the past 50 years. WWF referred to the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s study, highlighting this issue.

In Europe, scientists have shown a significant loss of pollinating insects in countries such as the United Kingdom. The number of butterflies has decreased by 30 and 50% throughout the continent, and in Germany, the variety of flying insects has been reduced by 76%.

 In 2022  a warning of a “60% decline in flying insects in Great Britain since 2004,” with a “34% drop per decade”, which scientists have described as disturbing.

Denmark’s decline is even more pronounced. A significant “loss of insects would reach 80% of the total population between 1997 and 2017.”

If insects are in trouble then the survival of the human race is in trouble This is another sign of the end of the world

 These tiny creatures play crucial roles in various ecosystems, including pollination, decomposition, and serving as a food source for other animals. Consequently, if insects are facing significant threats to their survival, it could signal a larger environmental crisis.

The decline of insect populations can lead to serious repercussions for biodiversity and the overall health of ecosystems, ultimately impacting human life as well.

In Hosea the Bible gives a prophecy to Israel which I’m sure it applies today to the end of the world.

Hosea 4:1 The LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

Hosea 4:2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.

Hosea 4:3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and everyone that dwelleth therein shall languish=lose or lack vitality; grow weak or feeble, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.

Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Matthew 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

Matthew 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

2 Chronicles 7:13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send diseases among my people;

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

2 Chronicles 7:15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attend unto the prayer that is made in this place

Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and diseases; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
