Since covid, it seems to many that the world has turned upside down. From millions of loved ones that have died around the world to the sickness still present in many from covid, it has brought much darkness into the world.
The lockdowns across the world have caused severe mental suffering in many people. The street of many countries has been full of riots and burning down of cities which makes people feel like they are living in a movie about the end of the world.
Fear and panic that has overcome people instead of safety and peace in everyday living. The lies that have been told on TV by news networks and world leaders to medical professionals cause people not to know who to trust.
Many feel insecure about their livelihood, from banks closing to businesses going out of business. Shortages of everything since Covid make people wonder if what they want or need will be there tomorrow.
War across Ukraine with Russia has caused the poor country’s food prices to soar and caused hunger to starvation. Now you must worry about a third world war and nuclear bombs being used. I could go on, but anyone reading this knows this world has been turned upside down.
The crack in this world of darkness is the “light coming in.” Jesus is that light that can change your world of darkness into seeing the light, driving the fear out of you, and replacing it with peace.
John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
When you walk in the light of Jesus, darkness can not overtake you, but the light shines in the darkness.
John 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
The words in the Bible are very comforting and will bring peace. If you follow and obey the words of the Bible, they will lead you unto that light and will lead you to that peace and eternal life.
Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
John 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
