Oklahoma teachers: Teach the Bible Or Go to California

Schools Must Teach the Bible Or “Go to California,” said the Oklahoma Superintendent. Recently, Oklahoma public schools were mandated to include Bible lessons in their curriculum. Teachers must now integrate the Christian Bible into history lessons and discussions about the founding fathers.

The initiative requires teachers to incorporate the Bible when teaching about human rights and U.S. law. It also encourages discussing the Bible’s impact on U.S. history and Western culture. Additionally, each public school classroom is required to have a Bible for teaching and instructional purposes.

Oklahoma leaders’ initiative to require the teaching of the Bible in public school classrooms has strong support from advocates. They firmly believe that the Bible is a part of U.S. history and should be included in students’ education.

Some Oklahoma parents and certain liberal church leaders have criticized a mandate requiring the teaching of the Bible in schools, citing their opposition to it on religious grounds and claiming that it violates their Constitutional rights.

The critics argue that anyone who identifies as Christian and opposes teaching the Bible in schools is misguided. They believe such opposition reveals a preference for darkness over enlightenment for children in any learning environment.

Mathew 15:14 Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Several school districts in Oklahoma have opposed the initiative and stated that they will not change their teaching plans or guidelines to comply with the mandate.

Oklahoma’s Superintendent of Public Instruction, Ryan Walters, has responded to these districts’ rejection, saying “I’m going to tell these woke administrators, if they’re going to break the law and not teach it, they can go to California.”

“In Oklahoma schools, we will ensure that history is taught,” stated Walters. He elaborated on the importance of teaching from the Bible in classrooms, emphasizing its connection to American history.

“We want Oklahoma’s students to have a deep understanding of American history, surpassing those in other states. We are developing a blueprint for other states to adopt,” he explained.

“Walters has also said that he was elected to his position because parents asked him to bring the Bible back into public schools. He explained, ‘When I ran three years ago, they were crystal clear. Why in the world are we not teaching our kids that our rights came from God?”

“Why in the world are we not referencing all these unbelievable moments in American history where the Bible was cited?'” “It is absolutely part of our history.

Walters’ statements and his push to ensure the Bible is taught in public schools have caused concern among some liberal, woke Oklahoma parents. Oklahoma isn’t alone in pushing for the Bible to be more prevalent in public school classrooms.”

Many conservative, Republican-led states around the country have implemented similar measures. For example, Louisiana recently passed a law mandating the posting of the Ten Commandments in every classroom in the state.

These laws and mandates have sparked criticism from some liberal Americans who argue that advocating for religion in public schools infringes upon their Constitutional rights, especially their First Amendment rights.

Expressing the belief that religion should only be practiced in places of worship and not in public schools sends a clear message that you are not a Christian and are anti-Bible, which is fundamentally anti-God, as God is the word.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

I doubt that any liberal claiming to be a Christian would truly grasp the meaning of those Scriptures.

1 John 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

It’s important to consider what you stand for, as it reflects whether you are for God or the devil.
