Almost 1500 Bird “Species” facing Extinction, which is a Threat to Human Health

Currently, over 1,500 species of birds face extinction threats, ranging from the warm, vibrant ecosystems of the tropics to the cold, remote regions near the poles.

This alarming situation highlights the urgent need for conservation efforts as habitat loss, climate change, and other human activities continue to jeopardize the survival of these avian species. 

Both North America and Europe are witnessing concerning declines in various bird populations. In North America, grassland bird species are facing significant reductions in their numbers, largely due to habitat loss, agricultural expansion, and changing land use practices.

Similarly, swifts and swallows, which are known for their aerial feeding habits, are also showing widespread declines across both continents. This decline can be attributed to climate change, pesticide use, and reduced available nesting sites. 

Eagle, vulture, and raptor populations are declining alarmingly throughout Africa, threatening our ecosystems and biodiversity.

Colonies of seabirds in the North Atlantic are experiencing significant declines and are disappearing at an alarming rate. This troubling trend affects various species that depend on these regions for nesting and foraging.

Sandpipers, spoonbills, and storks are commonly found in regions across Asia, where they thrive in wetlands and coastal habitats. However, the populations of parrots in Australia and South America have been experiencing significant declines due to habitat loss, illegal trapping, and climate change.

Additionally, certain species of penguins in Antarctica struggle to survive, facing severe challenges such as food scarcity linked to changes in their marine environment and competition for resources. 

The scientist points out that the primary issue arises from attacks on the endocrine system, a vital network responsible for regulating hormones and managing reproductive functions in humans and animals.

This disruption is closely linked to artificial chemicals in our water supply, which are often the result of industrial processes and agricultural runoff. Furthermore, these synthetic substances have the potential to interfere with humans’ normal hormonal balance, leading to a range of health problems.

Scientists say that the rate is speeding up and will be ten times higher by the end of this century if trends persist.

Humanity is not only inflicting harm on one another, but we are also devastating the Earth and all forms of life that inhabit it.

Revelation 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

The Bible gives a prophecy to Israel in Hosea, which I’m sure applies to the end of the world today.

Hosea 4:1 The LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

Hosea 4:2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.

Hosea 4:3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and everyone that dwelleth therein shall languish=lose or lack vitality; grow weak or feeble, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.

Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
