Bees are dying at an alarming rate in such great numbers all over the world.
Bees do more than merely produce honey. Bees are the foremost pollinators of the crops that we grow. About every third mouthful we eat is food that is dependent on bees.
Even the grass is indirectly reliant on bees since grass requires nitrogen in the soil that is produced by clover that does depends on bees for its pollination and that has to do with cattle and dairy products such as milk, butter and cheese comes from cattle.
Bees pollinate the majority of the flowering crops we have, from which we get much of our fruits, vegetables, and nuts including Beans, Soybean, Broccoli, Sprouts, Carrots, Cucumber, Onion, Parsnip, Squash, Tomato, Almonds, Cashew, Apple, Blackberry, Blueberry, Cacao, Coffee, Grapes, Kiwi, Mango, Pear, Raspberry, Alfalfa, Sesame, Sunflower just to name a few.
The consequence of a dying bee population impacts man at the highest levels on our food chain, posing a grave threat to human survival.
Albert Einstein once remarked, Mankind will not survive more than five years after the disappearance of the honeybees.
Just in 3 months, 500 million bees died in Brazil.
But the honey bee is just one of many insects in decline, more than 75 percent decline over 27 years in total flying insect biomass in protected areas.
Scientists are saying we are in a mass extinction-level event.
In recent years bee colonies around the world have been collapsing at an unprecedented rate, a rate that is alarming many food producers because it affects every crop that depends directly or, indirectly on bees for pollination. Colony collapse is recorded in Europe, Asia, and the United States. In parts of China, the bee has disappeared altogether.
In Hosea the Bible gives a prophecy to Israel which I’m sure applies today to the end of the world.
Hosea 4:1 The LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
Hosea 4:2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.
Hosea 4:3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and everyone that dwelleth therein shall languish=lose or lack vitality; grow weak or feeble, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.
Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and diseases; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
